This guide offers a step-by-step approach for effectively sending, receiving, and signing signature requests through Diesel TMS, making the onboarding process seamless and efficient. Users can personalize PDF templates for various documents, ensuring a professional appearance. Additionally, it outlines optional features that enhance the signing experience, such as signature type and notifications. By following this guide, users can streamline their document management and maintain better communication with recipients.
1. Navigate to https://dieseltms.com
2. Click "Log In"
3. Click "Onboards"
4. Click "New"
5. Select the "Rate Confirmation" option.
Tip: You can design your own PDF Templates to use when sending Rate Cons, Quotes, Invoices, and Onboarding / Signature Requests! Simply design it in MS Word, and copy paste it into the Text Field! Check it out after this walkthrough.
6. Select type of object you want to send the Signature Request / Onboard Request to.
7. Search for and Select the object based on the type you selected in the previous step.
8. (Optional) Select the Load/Dispatch/Quote this Request is related to.
9. Enter the name of the person expected to sign the request.
10. Enter the email you'd like to send the request to.
11. (Optional) Select any additional options you'd like to include for the document. (Require Drawn or Typed Signature, Notifications, Expiration Date, Allow Access After Signing, etc.)
12. (Optional) Enter any additional notes you'd like to include in the signed document.
13. Click on "Create Onboard" to send the request to the recipient.
14. After clicking Create, the recipient should receive an email like the following.
15. (From the Signer/Recipient's Perspective) The link opens a page like the one shown.
16. The Signer/Recipient must provide consent for electronic signatures.
17. The Signer/Recipient can either Draw or Type their signature, based on the options you selected when creating the Onboard.
18. To quickly autofill their name, the Signer/Recipient can simply click "Add Signature".
19. The Signer/Recipient can then Accept the Agreement by clicking "Accept & Sign", or Reset the form if they would like to make a change.
20. The Signer/Recipient can then download a copy of the signed document.
21. (From the Diesel Customer perspective) You will receive an email with the signed document. You can also view the status of the request by going back to "Onboards".
22. Open the Onboard that was just signed.
23. Download or Print the signed document by clicking on the corresponding button.
24. The signed document is also attached to the Invoice/Bill of the Order you previously entered (if one was entered).
25. Done!
